A good friend told me a story I have to share as it reminds me of the what if's, the who cares and the why not's. This is a story about a little guru and his smile.
My friend came across a child who was drawing a smiley face in the dirty, dusty canvas of a vehicle. Once complementing the kid on his masterpiece, he admitted to the child he was thinking of drawing a smiley face too. The little guru responded, “why didn't you?”.
Moments like these…you question yourself. A child has the power to question our answers! Sometimes missing the real question to ourselves…WHY NOT?
Our inner child will forever be within us, so don’t forget to draw the smiley face, always draw the smiley face. Not only are you spreading smiles but you’re making yourself smile in the process.
What makes you happy? What is holding you back? Do you care what people think? Is fear stopping you?
I am no english major, so writing has never been my area of expertise. Needless to say every time I hit the publish button, my heart skips a beat. But like I do with my art, I conquer the fear of what others may think of it. This is what I do, this is what I love, this is what I want to say and that is all it comes down to. If you love what you create, then that is all that matters. The love you put into your creations will be reflected to the eyes of those who see it.
Find time for your passions and do them because they make you happy, crack that smile, fill you with something called love. Then we all can wake up sharing more of that energy with the people around us and inspire them to do the same.
Let your smile be contagious.
So, if your not the one making a smiley face on the side of a dirty vehicle, then be the one getting a little dirt on the tires!
Let your imagination create the canvas for your smile.
Sending gratitude always to those who continue to support me in my creative journey. Whether you purchase a piece of art or you are reading thoughts from my head and my heart, I hope you can take a little inspiration with you from what you read or what you see. Through your support, I have been able to donate almost $200 from the art purchases to living oceans society so far !!
My heart is humbled and happy.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
